I’ve been horseback since I was a little girl. I wasn’t born into the lifestyle, but I got into it as soon as I possibly could and earned my respect in the industry along way — time at the barn, time in the arena, time in the pasture and years of showing up (on time i may add).
I spent most of my youth showing ranch versatility and cowhorse across AQHA, NRHA, NRCHA, and ASHA, plus collegiately. During that time, I also worked for a working ranch running yearlings and cow/calf and training cowhorses, trained and sold my own horses, and have stayed close to the lifestyle ever since.
These days I don’t show because work keeps my weekends booked, but I still keep a couple horses (and a donkey), rope occasionally, and pack into the mountains when I need a little R&R. My background ranching allows me to offer more. Not only do I understand the lifestyle, but i can read cattle, communicate effectively with ranchers young and old, and capture the work authentically without getting in the way.
Because I can actually ride, I can also go where most photographers couldn't. If the best light, the best pasture, or the best story is a few miles out, I can ride with you into country you can’t reach on a side by side and bring back visuals that actually feel like your operation — not just a staged version of it. Want to pack in and camp? I am that someone who will.
To sum it, this is Why ranches work with me:

- True-to-life visuals that respect the work and the people behind it
- Comfort around horses and cattle — safer, smoother days, less disruption
- horsemanship first -- no poorly fitting tack, no gaping mouths... every photo of a horse will look like a 5-figure sale ad.
- Marketing-ready delivery for web, social, or print.
- Backcountry capable — I can ride out with you to capture what makes your place different
