3 Ways to Generate passive income as a photographer...

1. Affiliate Marketing - this one can be tricky at first, but once you get a hang of it, you'll be off and running. To be really good at affiliate marketing, you must be selective with the brands you choose to work with. You want to AUTHENTICALLY be able to sell the products without being too sales-y. That's why I partner with brands I already use and love!
  • Printful - This print on demand company is how I sell my merch! This is a win/win because not only do i make money off selling products, I can also make extra by you clicking my REFERRAL link.
  • honeybook  - This is my client management software that makes my life so much easier! Each time my link is used, I can earn cash!
  • pixieset - hosts all my client galleries! You click the link and we both benefit.
  • weebly - The website platform i used to build this website! you can get a discount and i earn!
  • capital one - even my credit card rewards me for my REFERRALS.
So how do you make these partnerships and start earning money? Well that's another article... So if you want to learn more, leave a comment or send me a dm on instagram! @bonafidecowboy

2. Sell merchandise - but that sounds like a lot of work... I hear you. But really, most of the work is on the front end and then you can sit back and let the passive income flow. Well kind of. Here are a few tools I use.
  • printful - print-on-demand is my best friend, and maybe yours. If you hate shipping or ordering lots of product, this is a great option. You create the designs, set up your storefront, do a little marketing, and then you let the $$ roll in. No backstock, no shipping. And all that merch with your logos, will be "free" marketing to you!
  • Scentcraft - this one is a little odd, but also kind of cool. I partnered my business with scentcraft, to create a unique scent that i can sell to my customers or they can create their own! And they branded it, created it, and shipped it all out for me. (just make sure you don't put your ex as the face of your scent...)
  • lightroom presets - You create them, but are you selling them too? I used to be weary of "selling my style" but the truth is, they could always recreate it on their own with the right settings, so why not make a little money and save them the time! I sell these as a digital download and once they are in my storefront, i don't have to think about them again. Then utilize social media to help you drive traffic to your website!

3. Sell stock photos - Listen, I kind of got into this one on accident and I am so glad i did. I sell my edited misc. photos to an amazing stock photo gallery, real ag stock. They are one of many stock photo selling sites, but they are OPERATING in a very niche market. They sell their photos higher than many platforms like adobe, but they are specially curated to a specific group of people. I personally only sell to this site, however here is a link to a list of other sites to sell stock photos.
